Despite all the commercial ingredients and technical quality that is involved in Balupu, it is a Ravi Teja film where you see him with his supreme style and unmatchable grace. His portrayal of a collection agent Ravi is considered as one of his breakthrough performances and the movie is considered as the actor’s one of the biggest hit to date.

Shruti Haasan's charming screen presence
Shruti Haasan is one of the most popular and most loved actresses of Tollywood. She was romancing Ravi Teja in Balupu, remained her one of the most successful and best-known film to date. Her infectious smile and charming personality have won the audiences’ hearts. She plays the role named Shruti in this film which some critics have found refreshing. The movie saw Shruti Haasan with Ravi Teja on screen for the first time.

Intriguing plotline
Balupu tells the story of a collection agent for a bank Ravi, who realises that a couple cheats gullible people of their money, decides to give them a taste of their own medicine and falls in love along the way. Director Gopichand Malineni’s films have always struck the right chord with the audiences. With Balupu, he continues his successful track record of the same. Even though the film is predictable sometimes, Gopichand managed to keep the audience engaged with his narration.

Ravi Teja and Gopichand Malineni's camaraderie
It was the second association between Ravi Teja and Gopichand Malineni. As before Balupu, the two also collaborated back in 2010 for the film Don Seenu, which also went on to become a super hit at the box office. Also, the team of Ravi Teja and Gopichand have never disappointed the audience before. The duo has teamed up again for the third time for Krack, was commercially successful, garnering over Rs 70 crore at the box office. It was one of the biggest hits of 2021.

Brilliant cast and crew
Balupu is produced by Prasad Vara Potluri under his home banner PVP Cinema. The film also featured Anjali, Prakash Raj, Adivi Sesh, Ashutosh Rana, Brahmanandam, Ali, Nassar, Brahmaji, Raghu Babu and Rao Ramesh in crucial roles. The team of Balupu was very clear that they would not compromise in any way in this aspect of the film. All the songs were very successful hits composed by music director S Thaman and music was one of the main reasons for the film's success. The technical crew includes Jayanan Vincent for cinematography, Gautham Raju for editing and AS Prakash for art direction.
