A lot is expected from Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2- The Rule, which is slated to release across the globe on 5th December. While the advance booking for the film is yet to open in the country, it kickstarted in the United States of America a month before it’s release, and the booking started off with a bang. But two weeks into it, the bookings began to show a slump, and it was expected that the spike would come post the release of trailer. The trailer was released on 17th November, and it spread like wild fire. But the expected jump in the ticket sales didn’t accompany that.

As per current trend, the film has crossed US $1.5 million ( Rs 13 crore) mark for its premiere shows in the country. With just 8 days left for the release of the film, one can seen it crossing the US $ 2 million mark. Going by the buzz around the film , one would have expected it to be the biggest opening of the year in USA, breaking the record held by Prabhas’ Kalki 2898 AD, with over US $ 3.9 million while the all-time highest premiere show record is held by SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali 2, with US $ 4.3 million.

Pushpa 2- The Rule, is a sequel to the superhit hit film Pushpa- The Rise, which released in 2021 and also won Allu Arjun , the Best Actor National Award. The film has set a record for cracking a Rs 200 crore deal for Hindi distribution rights in North India by Anil Thadani.

Pushpa 2 also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil , Jagapathi Babu and Prakash Raj.
