Ram Pothineni's latest outing, 'Andhra King Taluka', hit theatres on Thursday and has opened to an encouraging response. With the movie being praised by the audience, the early box office numbers show a decent start.
As per trade analyst Sacnilk, the movie on its opening day made over Rs 4.25 crore. However, comparing the film to the performance of Ram Pothineni's previous outing, his last film, 'Double ismart' had a better opening, collecting Rs 7.35 crore on the first day. But it is also imperative to add that the movie later faced a massive dip in the collections.
With the early review, his latest release, 'Andhra King Taluka,' is expected to perform better in the coming days.
Theatre occupancy
Speaking of the film's occupancy rate, the movie had an overall 32.97% Telugu Occupancy on the day of the release. The first day, the first show had a decent opening occupancy of 29.23% in the morning. Later, it reduced to 26.64% in the afternoon and then increased to 32.41% in the evening. The night shows saw the peak, which was at 43.61%.
On the other hand, it recorded 7.53% Kannada Occupancy, where the morning shows had 11.38% occupancy and later had the lowest at 5.36% in the afternoon. A small rise in the evening shows was seen at 7.78% but then again it went down to 5.60% at night.
