With two days still to go for its premières, Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu has already posted USD 570K from the U.S. through premiere advance sales alone.When combined with Canada, the film’s total North America premiere advance stands at approximately USD 605K, giving it a clear runway toward a $1 million premiere night. For the Telugu star, this would mark his second-ever USD $1M premiere, and it arrives at a time when Telugu cinema continues to assert its theatrical dominance in premium overseas markets.Looking at the collection, it reveals that makers have gone in for standard screens over premium formats and the movie has paid off. Of the total collection, the standard screens have contributed over USD 500K from the total USD 605K collection. Also the film is only releasing in Telugu.

In a last minute twist on Friday the film's release was stalled and court giving January 21st as the next date for conversation about the film's future. Jana Nayagan had taken a strong start in advance booking in North America and its screens are not being handed over to other films.
