Anushka Shetty's 'Ghaati' has been struggling to form a tight grip at the box office and has not been able to collect big numbers. Directed by Krish Jagarlamudi, the film saw a dip in its daily collection on the first Tuesday as the early estimates suggest it collected over Rs 51 lakhs to its tally.According to trade analyst Sacnilk, on the opening day the movie collected over Rs 2 crore but could not sustain the momentum throughout the weekend. Its collection slipped to Rs 1.74 crore on Saturday, then Rs 1.15 crore on Sunday. As expected, being a weekday on Monday, the movie saw a dip in collection to Rs 65 lakhs and Tuesday settling at Rs 51 lakhs. This brings the film's five-day total to Rs 6.05 crore across all versions.

Theatre occupancy

The film's Telugu version also saw an overall occupancy of 15.54% on Tuesday, as per the same report, which was fairly consistent throughout the day: morning shows at 14.28%, afternoons at 14.88%, evenings at 16.40%, and night shows at 16.60%.'Ghaati' has faced hurdles due to numerous releases like 'Madraasi', 'Hridayapoorvam' and 'Lokah Chapter 1 – Chandra', which are doing well in the theatres.
