The Allu-Konidela family came together to observe the Pedda Karma of Allu Kanakaratnam, wife of legendary Telugu actor Padma Shri Allu Ramalingaiah and grandmother of actor Allu Arjun. The ceremony was held with family members gathering in remembrance of her life.Pictures and videos from the ceremony were shared on social media by the production company run by Allu Aravind. The post included pictures of Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalyan, Allu Arjun, Ram Charan seen greeting and attending the guests during the rituals.

Remembering her love and wisdom

One post also included Kanakaratnam's picture read, "Fondly remembering Sri Allu Kanakaratnam Garu...Her spirit, kindness, and love continue to live on with us."
Allu Arjun also took to X to share some pictures from the event and wrote, "#AlluKanakaratnam Pedha Karma".
The production house also wrote, "Today, as we observed the Pedda Karma of Sri “Allu Kanakaratnam” garu, we felt her presence in every prayer and every moment of togetherness. Surrounded by family and loved ones, we remembered her love, wisdom, and the values she instilled in us. Her blessings and memories will forever live in our hearts."

Allu Arjun's touching post

Earlier, Allu Arjun's brother Allu Sirish posted a picture on social media remembering fond memories with her grandmother and sharing some old pictures with whom he fondly used to call "nanamma". "My fondest memories of her would be the secret pocket money she gave which my parents werent aware of, protecting me from my Father’s anger and applying ubtan powder on me after playing outdoors in summer, hoping to de-tan me. I am happy we spent quality time with her, in her last days," he wrote.
