'Hello' Box Office Collections first weekend: Akhil Akkineni and Kalyani Priyadarshan starrer makes Rs 10.6 Cr worldwide

Akhil Akkineni and Kalyani Priyadarshan’s ‘Hello’, directed by Vikram Kumar has received good reviews by critics and audience alike.

The film that features music by Anup Rubens has collected Rs 10.6 Cr worldwide over its first weekend. According to reports, the film is doing better abroad than in India, where it isn’t amassing the collections it was expected to. Trade expert Taran Adarsh posted onto his social media that Hello has collected Rs 3.93 Cr in the US as of Sunday. He wrote, “Telugu film #Hello - USA...Thu $ 213,587, Fri $ 152,670, Sat $ 150,296, Sun $ 97,793, Total: $ 614,346 [₹ 3.93 cr]” (sic)

As for India, ‘Hello’ is estimated to have raked in Rs 7.66 Cr from the Telugu speaking states and made a total collection of Rs 10.6 Cr in its first weekend, making a gross of Rs 19.5 Cr. According to reports, the breakdown is as follows:

'Hello' charts the journey of childhood friends Seenu and Junnu who strive to meet each other once again after 14 long years of separation. While they meet each other as adults - Avinash and Priya - the film film charts the journey of how they find out the truth about one another.
