Jr NTR, Ram Charan's 'RRR' becomes the fastest Indian film to earn JPY300 million in Japan

'RRR', starring Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Alia Bhatt and Olivia Morris in lead roles, released in Japan on October 21, 2022. The film is in its 5th week and is still running strong in theatres. People have showered the film with a lot of love and affection. From cosplay, game cards and designing fan posters to cheering for the film in theatres, 'RRR' has made an impression on audience in Japan.
So far, 'RRR' collected 305 million Yen (Rs 17.5 crore approx), becoming the fastest Indian film to achieve such an amazing feat. It has also become the highest-earning foreign film in Japan within a week of its release. 'RRR' broke records during its initial release in March 25 by collecting Rs 1200 crore worldwide. The Hindi dubbed version of RRR grossed over Rs 325 crore.

Directed by SS Rajamouli, 'RRR' is a movie that has made the range of Telugu cinema famous not only in the country but also in the whole world. It has been almost seven months since the release of 'RRR' in India. However, the mania of this movie has not decreased at all. The ensemble cast of 'RRR' includes actors Ajay Devgn, Shriya Saran, Samuthirakani, Ray Stevenson, Chatrapathi Sekhar, Makarand Deshpande and Rahul Ramakrishna, among others. The technical crew comprises KK Senthil Kumar as the cinematographer, Sabu Cyril as the art director, A Sreekar Prasad as the editor and MM Keeravani as the editor.
