'Khiladi' final box office verdict: Ravi Teja starrer set to be a big disappointment, collects Rs 13 crore

'Khiladi' starring Ravi Teja, Dimple Hayathi and Meenakshi Chaudhary has crashed at the box office and is set to be a commercial failure. The film, which opened on February 11 and reportedly collected around Rs 13 crore at the box office, slowed down in the second week itself before collapsing in the first week. So, the film’s lifetime collection will be around Rs 13 crore.
'Khiladi' revolves around the convict of a murder who escapes police custody due to Criminologist Priya's misjudgement on her case for the thesis. Priya along with Arjun solves the mystery around the murder and money laundering which lead to the murder. The theatrical rights of the film have reportedly been sold for Rs 23.50 crore whereas the movie collected around Rs 13.30 crore at the box office worldwide.

Directed by Ramesh Varma, the film's cast also includes Arjun Sarja, Unni Mukundan, Anasuya Bhardwaj, Rao Ramesh, Vennela Kishore, Murali Sharma, Mukesh Rishi, Nikitin Dheer, Thakur Anoop Singh, Sachin Khedkar, and among others. The film was produced by Pen Studios in association with A Studios. The technical team is a strong crew that includes cinematographers Sujith Vaassudev and G.K.Vishnu and music composer Devi Sri Prasad. Amar Reddy Kudumula edited the flick. After 'Khiladi', Ravi Teja will be seen in 'Ramarao On Duty' followed by 'Dhamaka', 'Ravanasura' and 'Tiger Nageshwarao'.
