‘Kuberaa’ box office collections day 13: Dhanush starrer collects Rs 83.55 crores

Dhanush’s high-octane action drama 'Kuberaa' is approaching the end of its theatrical journey. The film, which opened to strong numbers and saw a solid first-week run, has slowed down significantly in its second week.



On Day 13 (Wednesday), the film earned around Rs 80 lakhs across all languages, as per early estimates reported by Sacnilk. This takes the total India net collection to Rs 83.55 crore.

Stellar opening, but a predictable dip



'Kuberaa' opened with a bang, collecting Rs 14.75 crore on Day 1, and gained more momentum through the weekend with Rs 16.5 crore on Saturday and Rs 17.35 crore on Sunday.




However, the film faced the usual weekday slump. The collections dropped to Rs 6.8 crore by Monday. The film continued to slide through the week. Despite a brief boost over the second weekend, the trend since Day 11 shows a steep decline.


Occupancy numbers



Occupancy rates on Wednesday (Day 13) were modest. In the Telugu market, where the film performed strongest as 'Kuberaa' registered a 13.09% occupancy. It had peak attendance during evening shows (14.32%). The Tamil version showed a slightly lower 10.99% overall occupancy, with a noticeable dip in the evening segment at just under 9%.

'Kuberaa' featured Dhanush, Nagarjuna Akkineni, Rashmika Mandanna, Jim Sarbh, and Dalip Tahil. ETimes review for the film reads, "Where Kuberaa falters is in its pacing. The first half takes its time to build the world—perhaps a little too slowly. The film could have benefited from a tighter edit. Still, it holds attention with its moody storytelling, evocative visuals, stirring score, and relevant themes that explore the price of survival and ambition. Kuberaa is not your usual commercial potboiler—and that’s precisely what makes it worth a watch. It's a brooding, introspective take on wealth and morality. It's not flawless, but it’s a bold leap from a filmmaker unafraid to reinvent his canvas."
