'Mahavatar Narsimha' box office collection day 32: mythological animated film mints Rs 233 crore domestically

'Mahavatar Narsimha' shows no signs of slowing down even after completing more than a month in theatres. The mythological spectacle, directed by Ashwin Kumar and co-written by Jayapurna Das, has had a long and impeccable run at the box office. On its 32nd day, the film collected an estimated Rs 1.25 crore, keeping its momentum alive despite new releases.

According to trade tracker Sacnilk, the film has now amassed a staggering Rs 233 crore in total collections. The fourth week alone contributed Rs 30.4 crore, proving the film's strong hold at the ticket window. The fifth weekend was particularly impressive, with Rs 1.85 crore on Friday, Rs 5 crore on Saturday, and Rs 6.15 crore on Sunday, before settling at Rs 1.25 crore on Monday.

Theatre occupancy

On Monday, August 25, 2025, the film's Hindi 2D version recorded an overall 6.12% occupancy. The numbers climbed steadily through the day, from 4.35% in the morning to 7.60% at night. Meanwhile, the Hindi 3D version fared better with an overall occupancy of 8.60%, showing higher turnout in the evening and night shows.

In Telugu markets, the film remains particularly strong. The Telugu 2D version registered an impressive 11.62% overall occupancy, peaking at 12.79% during night shows.

The mythological animated film features the voices of Aditya Raj Sharma, Haripriya Matta, and Priyanka Bhandari.

The film, released theatrically on July 25, 2025, in multiple languages including Hindi, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam.
