Mahavatar Narsimha Movie Review According to data from Sacnilk, the film managed to collect Rs 2.29 crore worldwide on its opening day, with the majority of the contribution coming from Indian markets.
Hindi version takes the lead
Of the five languages it released in, 'Mahavatar Narsimha' saw its strongest reception in Hindi-speaking regions. Reportedly, the film earned Rs 1.51 crore from its Hindi version alone.
With a storyline rooted in the eternal conflict between good and evil, focusing on the demon Hiranyakashyap’s defiance against Vishnu and the divine emergence of Narsimha, the Hindi belt appears to have connected well with the narrative and presentation.
Regional numbers remain modest
The regional versions saw relatively quieter openings. In Kannada, the film grossed Rs 7 lakhs on Day 1, while the Telugu version contributed Rs 38 lakhs.
The Tamil and Malayalam versions had the lowest openings with Rs 2 lakhs and Rs 3 lakhs respectively.
Total India net at Rs 2.01 Cr
Combining all versions across the Indian market, 'Mahavatar Narsimha' registered a net collection of Rs 2.01 crore on its first day.
The writing team behind this epic film includes Jayapurna Das and Rudra Pratap Ghosh, whose collaborative efforts bring to life the myth of Prahlad’s devotion and Vishnu’s incarnation as Narsimha.
