The official Telugu remake of the 2019 Malyalam film 'Porinju Mariam Jose' was released in theatres on Janaury 14, 2024. Directed by Vijay Binni, the film titled 'Naa Saami Ranga' made it to the big screens yesterday and the movie after its release received a positive response from fans.
'Naa Saami Ranga' on day 1 has grossed Rs 5 crore at the box office. According to the reports of Sacnilk, the film ran in theatres with an occupancy of 64% but it failed to make a hit at the box office with a two digit.
'Naa Saami Ranga' features Nagarjuna, Ashika Ranganath, Allari Naresh, Mirnaa Menon, Raj Tarun, Rukshar Dhillon, Nassar, and Shabeer Kallarkkal. The music for the film is composed by MM Keeravan
It is a periodic action drama that was inspired from real events that happened in 1980s and 1990s in Thrissur. The fans gave the film a lot of positive comments and many acclaimed the film for achieving its goal for a proper remake of a Malayalam film that catered to the taste of Telugu audience as well.
