The film that features music by Gopi Sunder and marks as Gopichand’s landmark 25
th film has however become his career best, according to a press release. The film registered strong openings on day one, raking in Rs 5.2 Cr gross and a share of Rs 3.22 Cr worldwide on its opening day. Releasing right before Sai Dharam Tej and Anupama Parameswaran’s ‘Tej I Love You’, the film has reportedly raked in good numbers for a Thursday release. Here are a breakdown of the figures:

‘Pantham’ charts the journey of a vigilante named Vikranth, played by Gopichand, and the grudge he seems to hold against Nayak Bhai, played by Sampath Raj. Mehreen plays the role of Vikranth’s love interest Akshara, a school teacher.
