Nandamuri Balakrishna has once again proved that he is the king of the box office. The actor's latest movie 'Veera Simha Reddy,' which released on January 12 to coincide with Pongal celebration, has taken a great opening in Telugu states and other parts of the country.
The Gopichand Malineni-directorial film has become the first big film to release in 2023. Despite mixed reviews, the Balakrishna starrer has got a flying start in the Telugu-speaking regions. The makers announced that Veera Simha Reddy has garnered Rs 54 crore gross on it first day at the box office worldwide. Thus finding a place in the list of biggest openers in Tollywood.
'Veera Simha Reddy' has been produced by Mythri Movie Makers. The music for the film has been composed by S Thaman with cinematography by Rishi Punjabi. Naveen Nooli edited the flick. Honey Rose, Shruti Haasan, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Duniya Vijay, Lal, Naveen Chandra, P. Ravi Shankar, Ajay Ghosh and Murali Sharma are also part of the project. The commercial potboiler has released across 5,1465 screens worldwide. These screens include 875 screens in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
