Veera Simha Reddy: Nandamuri Balakrishna starrer mints Rs 73 crore in pre-release business

Nandamuri Balakrishna starrer 'Veera Simha Reddy' hit the screens worldwide on Thursday, January 12. It is written and directed by Gopichand Malineni. The movie has Shruti Haasan as the female lead. Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Honey Rose, Duniya Vijay, Lal, Naveen Chandra, P. Ravi Shankar, Ajay Ghosh, Murali Sharma, Sapthagiri and others in the star cast. It has S Thaman’s music and Rishi Punjabi’s cinematography.
The commercial action entertainer has made a pre-release business of Rs 61.30 crore from the Andhra and Telangana states. From the sale of Nizam theatrical rights, it has earned Rs 15 crore. The rights of Ceded have fetched Rs 13 crore. Karnataka rights have fetched Rs 4.50 crore for the makers. The rights of the rest of the country have earned Rs 1 crore. From the sale of the overseas distribution rights, the makers have collected Rs 6.2 crore. The worldwide theatrical rights have earned Rs 73 crore.

S Thaman is scoring music for this untitled film, which is being produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shanka under their banner Mythri Movie Makers.
