Not many are aware of the fact that Laya had rejected a crucial role in the
Trivikram Srinivas directorial
‘Aravindha Sametha Veera Raghava’, starring
Jr NTR and Pooja Hegde
in the lead role. In a recent interview, she said that she was offered a pivotal role in the film, but she rejected for a reason that she thought that viewers might not be able to see her either as a mother or sister or sister-in-law.
She also stated that she is fond of
acting in films
and when perfect roles to suit her body language and stature come her way, she never hesitates to accept them.
Laya had a tiny role in Ravi Teja starrer ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’, where she has essayed the role of Ileana D’Cruz’s mother in childhood.
