The first look of
Rana Daggubati in Virata Parvam
had made a lot of heard turns. The movie features Rana Daggubati and
Sai Pallavi in the lead roles. According to the director
Venu Udugula
, who has helmed by Virata Parvam has revealed Rana Daggubati was not the first choice to play the lead in the movie.
When the director Venu Udugula was quizzed about the same, he confirmed that it was indeed
Gopichand
that was approached for this film. He also added that Gopichand really wanted to do Virata Parvam, but he was busy with some other movies when he approached him. The role was then passed to Rana Daggubati, who immediately came on board for the same.

Priyamani, Nandita Das, Zarina Wahab, Naveen Chandra, Banerjee, Rahul Ramakrishna, Easwari Rao, Devi Prasad, and others. It is being bankrolled by Sudhakar Cherukuri under the banner Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Cinemas in collaboration with Suresh Productions. Virata Parvam is set to release in multiple languages worldwide: Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam.
