Plenty of actors have undergone extreme workouts and diets to gain or lose weight for their roles. Now we hear that Nikhil Siddharth is gearing up for the release of campus drama ‘Kirrak Party’ has added eight kilos of muscle for his role. The actor who will be seen sporting a beard for the role said that body transformation makes a huge difference to acting.
He also admits having changing his voice a bit.
In the movie, Nikhil will be seen playing the role of a student leader, Krishna. He goes through a heart break, and later gets involved in politics. Speaking about his character, he said that there are different shades to his character; initially he is a fresher who later becomes a student leader.
Directed by Sharan Koppisetty and produced by Ramabrahmam Sunkara, the film is scheduled to release on February 9. The film is an official remake of the blockbuster Kannada film ‘Kirik Party’ which was directed by Rishab Shetty. The film features Samyukta Hegde, reprising her role from the Kannada version and
Simran Pareenja, making her Tollywood debut, as the female leads.
