Actor
Sundeep Kishanloves experimenting and says his upcoming film Tenali Ramakrishna BA BL will bring a genre that Telugu cinema is unfamiliar with. “It’s a courtroom comedy set in a small town in Kurnool. There’s going to be a lot of humour, and it’s the first light-hearted film that I’m doing after three years. My recent films were all serious ones so this came as a breather for me.
In a nutshell, Tenali Ramakrishna BA BL will have the brand of comedy and commercial elements that one would associate with a Rohit Shetty film,” shares Sundeep.
The film is being directed by G Nageswara Reddy and features
Hansika Motwaniand
Varalaxmi Sarathkumar as female leads. “Both Hansika and I play lawyers in the film and it was great fun working with her. We’ve shot together for 20 days and there was not a dull moment on sets. Hansika is really funny in real life, so comedy came naturally to her,” says Sundeep, adding, “We also have a romantic track in the film and I danced for a song after a long time and had great fun.”
Prod him further on his role, and the actor reveals that he’s playing an underdog looking to make it big in the world. “I play this practical guy who dreams of becoming a big lawyer. Even though it’s a courtroom drama, the way it’s presented is unique, humurous and fun. The audience is going to have a blast watching it,” he signs off.
