Speaking to Hyderabad Times Laxman shares his experience of working on his recent release which have garnered appreciation from fans and critics alike and his upcoming projects. "All my upcoming projects are now stalled due to the lockdown. I am playing a key role in

Mohan Bhagat

’s Kanakam. It is a rom-com shot in a village setting. The film captures the different changes and transitions one goes through in life. Apart from that, I have completed shooting for the film Ekam starring Aberaam Varma and Aditi Myakal in the lead roles. I am also playing a role in the debut film of Ashok Galla."

Talking about the response he has received for his roles in George Reddy and Palasa he added, "When George Reddy was released I was busy shooting for another film in the rural part of the state and I couldn't catch the film on the silver screen. I have watched the film on an OTT platform recently. But I received a lot of calls after the film released. Same is the case with Palasa 1978. I am yet to see the film in a theatre. Specifying that he is open to all kinds of roles, he said, “I don’t wish to limit myself as an actor. I am willing to act in commercials too. Just because I have been offered only off beat roles till now does not mean that I am not interested in any other kind of roles. I have been offered roles in commercials too but wasn’t able to do them because of prior commitments.”
