No filmmaker makes films if he knew that he is making a bad to worst film. Everyone starts any movie project with the confidence of making a great film and they are telling one of the best stories we have ever heard or watched on screen. Even the big actors and directors miss this judgement of good and bad scrips on certain projects. Below is the list of big and small films that people had huge hopes about which turned out to be other way around upon their release, have a look at them below.

​'Acharya' (2022)

Megastar Chiranjeevi's 'Acharya' is an action drama film written and directed by Koratala Siva. The film was produced by Ram Charan under his home banner the 'Konidela Production Company' along with Matinee Entertainments. Chiranjeevi played the titular role in the film alongside Ram Charan and Pooja Hegde but it has to bite the dust upon its release. The film despite having multiple stars and crazy combinations failed to impress the audiences and was a disaster at the box office.

​Radhe Shyam (2022)

Radhe Shyam (2022)

The above period romantic drama written and directed by Radha Krishna Kumar starring Prabhas and Pooja Hegde in the lead roles tried to tell the story of a palmist and his love life with Prerana. There was a huge hype surrounding his movie across the nation, but it couldn’t repeat the magic of SS. Rajamouli’s ‘Baahubali’ at the box office has ended up in losses.

​'Khiladi' (2022)

Director Ramesh Varma who was high on the success of his ‘Rakshasudu’ Bellamkonda Srinivas, tried this film with Ravi Teja, Arjun Sarja and Unni Mukundan but the film received mixed to negative reviews and was also underperformed at the Tollywood box office. The film was dubbed and released in Hindi but of no use. The film made with a whopping budget of Rs 60 crores failed to mint the required figure at the box office.

​Good Luck Sakhi (2022)

'Good Luck Sakhi' is a 2022 sports comedy film written and directed by successful filmmaker Nagesh Kukunoor. The film starred Keerthy Suresh, Aadhi Pinisetty and Jagapathi Babu in the prominent roles but it failed to impress the audience despite being made by a maverick director, due to the lack of strong characterizations and gripping narration. The film was also the Telugu debut of director Kukunoor after being a director for several years in Bollywood.

​'Son of India' (2022)

Indian Telugu action drama film ‘The Son of India’ written and directed by Diamond Ratnababu starring seniors such as Manchu Mohan Babu and Meena in the lead roles was a disaster at the box office. The film turned up to several trolls and memes due to its amateurish content & narration with an outdated story.

​Ghani (2022)

This Telugu sports drama film written and directed by Kiran Korrapati starring Varun Tej and Saiee Manrekar in the lead roles ended up as a year's disaster upon its release. The film reviews made its lead actor Varun Tej acknowledge and apologize for its misfire with a note on his social media handle. The film is said to have not recovered its budget as well due to its poor word of mouth.

​Mishan Impossible (2022)

Director Swaroop RSJ, who impressed everyone with his debut thriller film ‘Agent Sai Srinivas Athreya’ failed to repeat the same magic with his second comedy thriller. The trial of school kids who wanted to get rich by helping the police find Mafia don Dawood failed to impress the audience with no sharp humour and loopholes in the storyline & narration.

​'Sebastian P.C. 524'

This action thriller film written and directed by Balaji Sayyapureddy starring Kiran Abbavaram and Nuveksha ended up as a half-hearted drama. Though the film is lauded for its storyline, its poor narration made the film fail to connect with the audience.

​Chor Bazaar (2022)

This romantic action drama film directed by ‘George Reddy' famed Jeevan Reddy starring Puri Jagannadh's son, Akash Puri, Gehna Sippy, Subbaraju and Sampoornesh Babu has failed to impress the audience for several reasons such as its poor story, screenplay, direction and above all its execution.

'​1945' - Rana Daggubati, Regina Cassandra, directed by Sathya Siva

This 2022 war drama directed by Sathya Siva starring Rana Daggubati, Regina Cassandra, Sathyaraj and Nassar has failed to impress the audience with its frivolous graphics. The film turned out as one of the poorly performed movies of Rana Daggubati in theatres, which also left the actor in controversy over the financial disputes with its makers.
