Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, fondly known as Sr NTR, emerged from humble beginnings to become a prominent figure in both the Telugu film industry and politics. Born on May 28, 1923, in Nimmakuru, Andhra Pradesh, NTR began his career as a stage artist and eventually transitioned to the world of cinema.


NTR's breakthrough role came in the form of Lord Krishna in the critically acclaimed film 'Maya Bazaar' (1957). This epic fantasy film showcased his exceptional talent and charisma, propelling him to stardom.
