#41YrsOfSSMBMasteryInTFI : Mahesh Babu’s fans celebrate his long career

41 years ago on November 29, 45-year-old Mahesh Babu made his debut on-screen and fans trend #41YrsOfSSMBMasteryInTFI on the occasion.

Mahesh, son of Superstar Krishna, made his debut on-screen at the age of four in the year 1979 with the movie Needa. Legendary director Dasari Narayana Rao directed the film that starred Mahesh’s brother Ramesh Babu. Later on, Mahesh would also feature as a child artist in many of his father’s films like Gudachari 117, Koduku Diddina Kapuram and more. It’s only much later in 1999 that K Raghavendra Rao launched Mahesh Babu as a lead actor with Raja Kumarudu, earning him the moniker Prince. In many interviews after gaining fame, Mahesh would reminisce how he would act in these films during summer vacations.

Years later, with numerous blockbusters in his kitty, Mahesh is going strong with his last film, Anil Ravipudi’s Sarileru Neekevvaru releasing this Sankranti and receiving good response. The star will soon join the sets of Parasuram Petla’s Sarkaru Vaari Paata with Keerthy Suresh as his co-star. The film’s puja ceremony was recently held in Hyderabad and was attended by his wife Namrata Shirodkar and daughter Sitara. Shooting will resume from January 1, 2021 and pre-production is currently in full swing. The actor will also sport a long-haired look for the film and fans can’t wait to see his makeover on-screen.
