This Hindi song become a huge chartbuster because of his original Telugu composition for ‘Simhasanam’, where he composed the above song for the first time, Later the same director of Telugu ‘Simhasanam’ made a movie in Hindi with Jeetendra & Sridevi titled ‘Himmatwala’ and the music director has reused the tune for the Hindi version as ‘Naino Mein Sapna’ which went onto become one of the evergreen chartbusters of all time.

He is the first musician to introduce quality sound in Indian music called 70 MM Stereophonic sound. He is the first music director to introduce 70 MM stereophonic sound in Indian Telugu cinema in his film ‘Simhasanam’ starring superstar Krishna. The film was later remade in Hindi.

He has given music to several of 1980 Hindi remakes of Telugu films such as ‘Jaani Dost’, ‘Kaamyab’, ‘Naya Kadam’, ‘Hoshiyar’, ‘Masterji’, ‘Mera Saathi’, Bappi Lahari along with Laxmikanth Pyarelal regularly composed music to Hindi remakes of Telugu films during the 1970s and ’80s.
After the super-success of ‘Himmatwala’, he composed several duets sung by Kishore Kumar for films starring Jeetendra such as Mawali, Haisiyat, Balidaan, Qaidi, Majaal and other movies.
He is the one music director who had composed 12 superhit silver Jubilee movies starring Jeetendra as a lead during 1983-1985 and entered Guinness Book of World records for recording 180 songs for 33 films in 1986 of which most are the Hindi remakes of the Telugu films.

Several of his compositions are evergreen hits in Telugu such as Chiranjeevi films such as ‘State Rowdy’, ‘Gangleader’, ‘Bigboss’ and ‘Simhasanam’ for Superstar Krishna also he gave a few other evergreen hits to Balakrishna’s ‘Rowdy Inspector’, ‘Nippu Ravva’ and other films until recently he sung a song for a Telugu film ‘Disco Raja’ his last song in Telugu.
