5 most anticipated upcoming movies of October 2018

Tollywood is one of the most successful film industries in the world as it produces a number of films in a year. Cinema lovers are always keen to know about the upcoming releases so as to watch them on the first go. October is a promising month when it comes to Telugu films as that will be the Dussehra season. If there is one Tollywood actor who continues to entertain us, it’s simply Vijay Devarakonda. It does not come as a surprise that his film tops the list of the most anticipated films of the year. After starring in ‘Geetha Govindam’, Vijay is all set to sizzle the silver screen with ‘Nota’, which is a political drama. The film reportedly boasts of a remarkable performance by the actor as a politician in the film. The movie is directed by Anand Shankar and written by Shan Karuppusamy with KE Gnanavel Raja producing it. ‘NOTA is scheduled to release on October 4.

Jr NTR is all set to strike again! The all-time king of high-quality performance returns with yet another action family entertainer titled, ‘Aravindha Sametha Veera Raghava’. As we all know, his movies are a blend of action, emotion and so on. This time he has teamed up with the marvellous director Trivikram Srinivas and this is their first-time collaboration. Set in the backdrop of Rayalaseema region, the movie is bankrolled by S Radha Krishna under the banner of Haarika & Hassine Creations. The movie is gearing up for release on October 11.

We all love Ram Pothineni films, but this time around; we have to watch how his upcoming film ‘Hello Guru Prema Kosame’ ends up like. It’s reportedly a family entertainer with a crazy love story taken to the next level. Anupama Parameshwaran will be seen romancing alongside Ram in the film, which also stars Pranitha Subhash, Prakash Raj and others. The movie is directed by Trinadha Rao Nakkina and produced by Lakshman, Dil Raju and Sireesh under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations. It will hit the theatres on October 18.

Vishal returns to the cinemas with the second instalment of ‘Pandem Kodi’. Titled ‘Pandem Kodi 2’, it is another crazy action entertainer that you can’t miss, especially if you have loved the first one. The much-awaited movie is a pack of action, drama, romance, love and of course enticement. It is directed by N Lingusamy as well as written by Brinda Sarathy alongside S Ramakrishnan. Apart from Vishal, the film also stars Keerthy Suresh, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Rajkiran, Arjal, Ganja Karuppu, Ramdoss, Hareesh Peradi and Kabali Vishwanath. The movie is releasing on October 18.

Director Ravi Babu is all set with another movie for this year’s Dussehra. Bankrolled by Suresh Productions, in collaboration with Flying Frog Production, the film stars Nabha Natesh in a key role.

Written and directed by Ravi Babu, it is touted to be India’s first live-action 3D film, which the makers claim will be enjoyed by both parents and children.
