'' reportedly decided to treat fans of
Ram Charan by unveiling the first glimpse of the actor on the occasion of his
36th birthday
on March 27. Touted to be an action drama, ''Acharya'' has Ram Charan playing a key role.
''Acharya'', which is directed by
Koratala Siva
, is bankrolled by Ram Charan and Niranjan Reddy under the banner Konidela Production Company in association with Matinee Entertainment. Starring
Megastar Chiranjeevi
in the lead role, the projects marks the second-time collaboration of Chiru and Kajal Aggarwal after Khaidi No 150. ''Acharya'' also stars Pooja Hegde, Sonu Sood, Jisshu Sengupta, Saurav Lokesh, Kishore, Tanikella Bharani, Ajay and Regina Cassandra in pivotal roles.
The technical crew of ''Acharya'' includes Mani Sharma for music, Tirru for cinematography and Navin Nooli for editing. The film is one of the highly anticipated ones as the director’s previous movie Bharat Ane Nenu was lauded by fans and critics alike. Since ''Acharya'' has a power-packed cast list, it is expected that this film will turn out to be a milestone for Tollywood. So far, ''Acharya'' has wrapped up eighty per cent of its shooting, and the makers are hopeful to wrap it up by the end of March and then head to the post-production works.
