Actor Venu to make a comeback with Ravi Teja starrer Rama Rao on Duty

Actor Venu Thottempudi who’s known best for headlining films like Chirunavvutho, SwayamVaram and Gopi Gopika Godavari is all set to make a comeback in Tollywood.

The team of Sarath Mandava’s Ravi Teja starrer Rama Rao on Duty has welcomed the actor on-board to play a pivotal role in the film. They took to social media and wrote, “Team #RamaRaoOnDuty takes privilege in welcoming back everyone's favorite #VenuThottempudi garu to be ON DUTY again to flare the screen. (sic)”

Venu was last seen in Jr NTR starrer Dhammu which hit screens in 2012. This will be his second innings in the Telugu film industry. Shooting has already begun for the film after the second wave of coronavirus. Ravi Teja plays a cop in the action entertainer and it remains to be seen how his role will be different from all the previous times he has played a cop. Rajisha Vijayan and Divyansha Kaushik play the female leads in the action entertainer.

Ravi Teja has wrapped up shooting for Khiladi, key scenes for which were shot in Italy. The film will see Ravi Teja in a dual role with Meenakshi Chaudhary and Dimple Hayathi as his co-stars. Ramesh Varma of Rakshasudu fame directed the film. Release of the film was halted and Ravi Teja’s fans are now waiting for a new release date to be announced.
