After wrapping up the shoot without much noise, Sudheer Varma’s gangster-saga
Ranarangam
released to a mixed response at the ticket counters. Though the numbers were good on the first day, the big-budget film failed miserably from then on. Moving on from the disappointment,
Sharwanand is busy shooting for the Telugu remake of
96
. After wrapping up this romantic-drama, the 34-year-old actor will join the sets of
Sreekaram
, an emotional family entertainer directed by debutante Kishore Reddy.
Set against the backdrop of agriculture, the shooting of the film will commence shortly in Hyderabad and a major portion is expected to be shot at Tirupathi and Anantapur. After playing a
gangster
in Ranarangam, Sharwanand will reportedly be seen as a
farmer
in Sreekaram and sources say that the Prasthanam actor is keen on wrapping up the film in a couple of months.
While Ram and Gopi Achanta are bankrolling this project,
Mickey J Meyer
will be composing the music and Sai Madhav Burra will pen the dialogues. The makers are aiming for Sankranthi 2020 release. Information regarding the leading ladies and other cast are yet to be revealed.
