'Akhanda 2' OTT release: When and where to expect Nandamuri Balakrishna’s fantasy action drama

After much anticipation, ‘Akhanda 2’ fans finally have an official release date and a platform for the film's streaming release. Following its theatrical launch on December 12, the Telugu action movie starring Nandamuri Balakrishna is set to evade digital platforms.

According to a report by OTT nights, Netflix has purchased the OTT streaming rights to ‘Akhanda 2,’ and the film will be available for viewing on January 9, 2026. However, this has yet to be confirmed.

Speaking about signing up for the movie earlier, Aadhi reportedly said he had signed up with the belief in the director even without the complete narration of the movie in mind, keeping in view the strength of his character in the film.
