S Thaman, who is the son of the grandson of legendary director Ghantasala Balaramayya, and the playback singer Ghantasala Savitri, made his debut as a composer with the romantic drama Malli Malli in 2008. Thaman, a music composer and singer has created a niche in the industry with his peppy tracks. He has scored music for leading stars including Ravi Teja, Jr NTR, Ram Pothineni, Mahesh Babu, Nagarjuna Akkineni, Allu Arjun, Balakrishna Nandamuri, and Pawan Kalyan. He has successfully completed thirteen years in cinema. As the composer has turned a year older and wishes have been pouring in for the energetic composer. Akhanda
Directed by Boyapati Sreenu, Akhanda stars Nandamuri Balakrishna and Pragya Jaiswal in lead roles. The music of the film will be composed by S Thaman who has a stellar body of work with only chartbusters. This, incidentally, won’t be the first film featuring Balakrishna. He had composed the actor’s 2016 film Dictator and the upcoming film will be the second time association between them.

Ghani
Makers of Ghani, starring Varun Tej Konidela and Saiee Manjrekar have roped in S Thaman for the film. The first song from the film has been unveiled to a huge hype. It was sung by Aditya Iyengar, Sri Krishna, Sai Charan and Prudhvi Chandra and Thaman has scored the music. The tune, vocals and lyrics have struck a chord with listeners. Ghani is directed by Kiran Korrapati and Varun will be seen as a boxer in the film.

Sarkaru Vaari Paata
Mahesh Babu’s upcoming film 'Sarkaru Vaari Paata' has ample scope for music and the team is already jamming with Thaman to create some foot-tapping numbers. Mahesh Babu and Thaman had earlier teamed up for hit albums Dookudu, Businessman and Aagadu. Directed by Parasuram, the film features Keerthy Suresh as the leading lady.

Thank You
S Thaman has been roped in as the music director for Akkineni Naga Chaitanya starrer Thank You. He had earlier composed music for Tadaka, Majili and Venky Mama. The film has been directed by Vikram Kumar and produced by Dil Raju under his banner Sri Venkateswara Creations. Raashi Khanna and Avika Gor are playing the female leads.

Bheemla Nayak
Power Star Pawan Kalyan is currently working on Bheemla Nayak, which is slated to hit the theatres on January 12, 2022. S Thaman has been roped in to compose music for this flick. It has been making waves ever since the project was announced and now after the three lyrical video songs were released on YouTube, they went viral and continues to trend on the YouTube platform.

Godfather
Chiranjeevi has joined hands with director Mohan Raja for Godfather, a remake of the Malayalam film Lucifer (2019). The film marks the first collaboration between the actor and director. The shooting of the film is expected to go on floors soon. The makers have brought composer Thaman on board to score the music for the remake. Recently it was announced that Bollywood actor Salman Khan will be seen essaying a guest appearance in the film.

RC 15
Ram Charan has teamed up with director Shankar for his fifteenth film RC 15. The makers have roped in Thaman for the film. Ram Charan and Thaman had earlier worked together for the films Naayak, Bruce Lee and The Fighter. Apart from composing the tracks, Thaman is also creating the background score. He is expected to compose five songs.

SSMB 28
After wrapping up the shoot of Sarkaru Vaari Paata, Mahesh Babu will join hands with director Trivikram Srinivas for his 28th film, SSMB 28. Pooja Hegde has been roped in to play the leading lady opposite Mahesh in the film. There were even reports that Lavanya Tripathi will play the second female lead role. Thaman has been signed to compose music for SSMB 28, bankrolled by Haarika and Hassine Creations.

NTR 30
It's known that Jr NTR has a film lined up with director Koratala Siva. S Thaman has been roped in as the music director for the film. NTR 30, which was announced in April 2021, will be produced by Nandamuri Kalyanram under the banner of NTR Arts. The film will go on floors once NTR wraps up RRR and is slated to hit the theatres on April 29, 2022.
