The teaser of Akhil Akkineni’s upcoming film 'Agent' is out. Directed by Surender Reddy, the film promises a high-octane action drama. It has been bankrolled by Rambrahmam Sunkara under the banner of AK Entertainments and Surender 2 Cinema.
In the one-minute and seventeen-second-long teaser, Akhil can be seen in a stylish yet fierce avatar. With goons all around, he can be seen emerging like a shooter and setting all guns ablaze. The teaser has all the elements -- thrill, drama, action and suspense to keep the moviegoers glued to the screens. It also features some pretty spectacular shots. Akhil is in complete form as he shows off his physique and six-pack abs for this action movie. The look comes after the stringent diet he had to follow, avoiding all types of fats. For the unversed, Agent has Akhil Akkineni in the role of an Interpol spy. Overall, the Surender Reddy directorial seems to be a stylish action entertainer that will have you on the edge of your seat.
'Agent' also features veteran Malayali actor Mammootty in a crucial role. Sakshi Vaidya plays the female lead. The technical crew comprises music by Hiphop Tamizha and cinematographer Rasool Ellore. The film was supposed to hit the theatres on December 24 last year, but the makers had postponed the release due to the coronavirus pandemic. The film is now all set to release on August 12.
