Akhil Akkineni gets engaged to Zainab Ravdjee: Everything you need to know about the fiancée of the Tollywood star

Nagarjuna Akkineni shared the happy news that his son, actor Akhil Akkineni, has officially gotten engaged to his girlfriend, Zainab Ravdjee. Akhil’s mother, Amala, also shared pictures of the couple on her social media account to confirm the engagement.

Zainab Ravdjee and Akhil Akkineni got engaged on November 26, and as many are curious about Akhil’s soon-to-be wife, here is everything you need to know about the Mumbai-based painter.

According to Pinkvilla, Zainab Ravdjee is the daughter of industrialist Zulfi Ravdjee. She was born in Hyderabad, and the 39-year-old now lives in Mumbai, where she has built a career as a painter. She has spent the past few years in India, Dubai, and London to further nourish her career.




Zainab Ravdjee also played a significant role in the MF Hussain directorial venture 'Meenaxi: A Tale of Three Cities'. The movie also featured Tabu and Kunal Kapoor in lead roles. Zainab played Naghma’s friend, portrayed by Sadiya Turabi.


Zainab, who has a private profile on social media, owns a blog called Once Upon The Skin. She is also a perfumer. Reports suggest that Akhil and Zainab have been dating each other for the past two years. The engagement was an intimate ceremony, with the wedding likely to happen in 2025.

Nagarjuna also shared the announcement on social media, he wrote, "We are thrilled to announce the engagement of our son, @AkhilAkkineni8, to our daughter in law to be Zainab Ravdjee! We couldn't be happier to welcome Zainab into our family. Please join us to congratulate the young couple and wish them a lifetime filled with love, joy, and your countless blessings."

Akhil's mother, Amala Akkineni also wrote, "Nagarjuna and I are thrilled to announce the engagement of our son, Akhil Akkineni, to our daughter in law to be Zainab Ravdjee!"


Akhil Akkineni was previously engaged to businesswoman and designer Shriya Bhupal. In 2017, Akhil and Shriya parted ways. Meanwhile, Akhil’s brother, actor Naga Chaitanya, is all set to marry his girlfriend, actress Sobhita Dhulipala. The couple got engaged in August this year and will reportedly tie the knot on December 4.
