Akhil Akkineni shoots for Agent in Manali: Life feels better in the snow, he says

The team of the Surender Reddy directorial is shooting some high-octane action sequences in the region with action choreographer Vijay master. Akhil and other members of the cast are taking place in the sequences. The actor too shared pictures of him in a snow jacket at Rohtang Pass, writing, “Life feels better in the snow. (sic)” The team also shared a picture in which Akhil can be seen posing on a roof with Surender Reddy, Rasool Ellore and Vijay master.


Akhil underwent a massive transformation for the film, bulking up and growing his hair to play the role of a spy. Malayalam star Mammootty has been roped in for a powerful role while debutant Sakshi Vaidya will be seen as his romantic interest. Vakkantham Vamsi has penned the film’s story which sees music by Hip Hop Thamizha and camerawork by Rasool Ellore. Naveen Nooli is the editor and Avinash Kolla is the art director. Agent is slated for release on August 12 and given that it marks the actor’s return to action films after a bunch of rom-coms, it remains to be seen how it’ll fare.
