for a new project titled ‘
Manmadhudu 2
’. The film will be the sequel to the 2002 blockbuster hit film ‘Manmadhudu’.
The project, which happens to be Rahul Ravindran’s second flick after ‘Chi La Sow’, will reportedly go on floors in January. The film also stars Tollywood’s ace actors in pivotal roles. According to reports, the film will be a
romantic family entertainer
and will be devoid of the clichés associated with films in this genre. The team is on the lookout for actresses to play the leading ladies in the film.
The film is thought to appeal the audience universally as it deals about pure love, marriage and family relations. Akkineni Nagarjuna was last seen in the Sriram Adittya directorial ‘Devadas’ alongside Nani. Nagarjuna will also be next seen in the sequel to ‘Soggade Chinni Nayana’, Malayalam film ‘Marakkar’, Hindi film ‘
Brahmastra
’ and an untitled Dhanush directorial film.
