Allu Arjun credits director Sukumar for his career success; calls him life-changing

Allu Arjun starrer 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' will be hitting the big screen and makers have been organizing promotional events for the same. Yesterday on November 29, the makers arrived in Mumbai for a press meet where Pushpa Raj expressed his gratitude towards director Sukumar, crediting him for his success throughout his career.

While speaking at the event he said, "Pushpa is my 20th or 21st film; we have made many films together. It is he who has made me a star."

He also expressed that without Sukumar's support, he wouldn’t be where he is today. Allu Arjun described Sukumar as the person who fundamentally changed his life and career, sharing the deep respect and admiration he holds for the director.

He further added, "Undoubtedly, I keep telling this even in my hometown. If there is one man who has made the biggest difference in my life. At the end of my life, when I look back, who is that one person who changed the entire course of my life, it would be my director, Sukumar."

At the event, Allu Arjun also expressed his disappointment over Sukumar's absence, that how much the director cares about the audience and how his focus on the film's quality is evident in his absence from promotional events.

Continuing from where 'Pushpa: The Rise' left off, 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' will give a more detailed sight of the red sandalwood smugglers syndicate leader. The film features returning stars Rashmika Mandanna as Srivalli and Fahadh Faasil as Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat, alongside new cast members.

The makers have released the trailer and three songs from the film and a promo of the fourth. All the pre-release updates have been taken extremely well by the audience increasing the hype for the film releasing on December 5th, 2024.
