Allu Arjun might play a dual role in Atlee's next film 'A6': Report

Allu Arjun is gearing up for a massive project with director Atlee, tentatively titled 'A6', which is expected to include some visually grand cinema set in a 'Parallel Universe'.

As per Track Tollywood, it suggests that Allu Arjun may take on dual roles in 'A6', following Atlee's signature storytelling style of showcasing his lead actors in multiple characters. This pattern is evident in Atlee's previous films, such as 'Mersal' and 'Bigil,' where Thalapathy Vijay played multiple roles, and 'Jawan', where Shah Rukh Khan portrayed two distinct characters.

The movie is currently in the pre-production phase and filming is expected to commence between August and October 2025, with Allu Arjun allocating bulk dates to accommodate the project. While the film boasts a fresh concept, it is expected to retain Atlee's signature style, including strong character introductions, powerful sequences, and commercial appeal. The storyline is packed with political and dramatic elements, promising a gripping story.

Moreover, on the other hand, Allu Arjun is also committed to a film with director Trivikram, scheduled to begin in the latter half of 2026. He was last seen in 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' alongside Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil which was a box-office juggernaut becoming highest grossing film in India.

Atlee's last directorial venture was 'Jawan' an action thriller starring Shah Rukh Khan that achieved blockbuster success. This film shows Atlee's reputation for delivering mass entertainers. Beyond directing, Atlee has also ventured into production. He recently produced 'Baby John', the Hindi remake of his 2016 Tamil hit, 'Theri'. 'Baby John' stars Varun Dhawan and Keerthy Suresh.
