Allu Arjun praises Mahesh Babu's impact on Telugu cinema: "He raised the standards"

Allu Arjun recently appeared on Season 4 of "Unstoppable with NBK", hosted by Nandamuri Balakrishna, where he shared his admiration for fellow actor Mahesh Babu. During the episode, when Mahesh Babu's photo was displayed, the "Pushpa" actor praised him for his impressive comebacks after facing failures in his career which is something he really admires about him.

He also added, "And he is a true cinema lover. Genuinely speaking, he is one of the actors who has raised the standards of Telugu cinema. On this part, I really respect him, Sir."

He also said, "Everyone talks about the looks and appearance of Mahesh Babu, that, of course, is a given."

This appearance comes as Allu Arjun promotes his upcoming film 'Pushpa 2: The Rule', termed as the most awaited sequel of the year. The film features Rashmika Mandanna alongside Allu Arjun and is set to release in theatres on December 5, 2024.

The trailer for 'Pushpa 2' is scheduled to be launched on November 17, 2024. The trailer will run for 2 minutes and 44 seconds and is expected to showcase high-octane action and drama, continuing the gripping saga of Pushpa Raj, a sandalwood smuggler. The trailer launch event will take place in Patna, Bihar, where fans will get an exclusive first look before it goes digital.

Meanwhile, Mahesh is currently working with the ace director SS Rajamouli, for their next mega project which will be a globetrotter. The film is tentatively called 'SSMB29' and is said to be made over a Rs 1000 crore budget with Mahesh Babu co-producing the film.
