Allu Arjun resumes work in Mumbai: Returns after grandmother Allu Kanakratnam's last rites - Read
Tollywood star Allu Arjun was recently spotted in Mumbai as he resumed his professional commitments just days after performing the last rites of his grandmother, Allu Kanakratnam. The latter, wife of the legendary actor and Padma Shri awardee Allu Ramalingaiah, passed away in Hyderabad on August 29 at the age of 94, leaving the Allu and Konidela families in grief.
As per a Pinkvilla report, after the rituals, Allu Arjun has now returned to work. On Sunday, the 'Pushpa' star was photographed in Mumbai, stepping out in a crisp white shirt paired with black sunglasses and carrying a backpack. He was seen getting into his car as the paparazzi clicked him, marking his return to professional duties amidst personal loss.
Allu Arjun took to social media to pen an emotional tribute to his grandmother. Sharing a picture of her, he wrote, "Our beloved grandmother #AlluKanakaratnam garu now rests in her heavenly abode. Her love, wisdom, and presence will be missed every single day. Heartfelt thanks to everyone who came forward to share their affection and condolences. To those far away, your prayers and love were felt just as much. Thank you for your Love. Humbled".
The 'AA22xA6' actor was not in town when the unfortunate news broke. He immediately cut short his schedule and flew to Hyderabad to be by his family’s side during the difficult time. Pictures from the funeral saw him along with several family members, including his uncle Chiranjeevi and cousin Ram Charan, paying their final respects.
Ram Charan too managed to fly in for the last rites despite being busy with the Mysore schedule of his upcoming film 'Peddi'.
On the other hand, Allu Arjun is now working on the mega sci-fi 'AA22xA6' directed by Atlee.
