: The Rise has bagged the ‘Film of the Year’ award at the 2022 Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival on Sunday.

The two cinematic parts ‘Pushpa’ have been directed by Sukumar and this is his third collaboration with the Allu Arjun, which was released in theatres on December 17. The film has done well across the country in all its dubbed versions along with its original Telugu version. The film has been produced by Naveen Yerneni and
Y. Ravi Shankar under the movie banner Mythri Movie Makers along with the Muttamsetty Media.
The movie starred Allu Arjun playing the titular character and Rashmika played the ‘Srivalli’, the love interest of Pushpa Raj. The film that deals with the smuggling syndicate of red Sandalwood from Seshachalam Hills of Andhra Pradesh was an instant hit with the Indian police and other security forces as it is an issue faced daily for them.
The film made with a whopping budget of Rs 200 crores has minted around Rs 365 crores in its theatrical run and now streaming on the OTT platforms in all the languages. The second part of Pushpa titled ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ is scheduled to commence its shoot from April 2022.
