Taapsee starrer ‘Anando Brahma’ is releasing today (August 18) and the film marks a comeback to the Tollywood screen for the actress after quite a hiatus. Here are five reasons why you should check out this flick:
1. A unique concept: We’ve all heard of humans being scared of ghosts but this is a scenario where the reverse happens.
2. First time for Taapsee: This is the first time that Taapsee Pannu is doing a straight Telugu film in which she plays the character of a ghost.
1x1 polls
Audiences accustomed to watching her in glamorous roles will be in for a pleasant surprise
3. Generous dose of comedy: The presence of four comedians: Vennela Kishore, Srinivas Reddy, Tagubothu Ramesh and Shakalaka Shankar in the film means that there will be no shortage of clean humour in the film
4. Unique characterisations: Each of the four comedians has a quality peculiar to him in the film: Srinivas Reddy suffers from a rare and rare and funny heart ailment, Vennela Kishore is night-blind and deaf, Tagubothu Ramesh is extremely unpredictable once he hits the bottle and Shakalaka Shankar suffers from a split-personality disorder. These funny traits need to be watched on the silver screen
5. Best attempt of Mahi V Raghav: Director Mahi V Raghav has earlier made the critically acclaimed ‘Paatshaala’. But he is seriously keen on scoring a commercial mark with ‘Anando Brahma’ and has given it his best shot.
