Anasuya Bharadwaj's ''Thank You Brother'' skips theatrical release; to premiere directly on OTT

Anasuya Bharadwaj’s upcoming film,

Thank You Brother

, is all set to premiere on

OTT platform

from May 7. The film was supposed to hit the screens on April 30. However, due to the

second wave of the novel coronavirus

, the team couldn't release it on time. The trailer of ''Thank You Brother'', which was unveiled in January 2021, becomes a hit on the internet.

According to the latest reports, the makers of the film have decided to opt for a digital release as they are uncertain about the re-opening of theatres. Anasuya Bharadwaj, a known face both on silver screen and small screen, has also agreed to release the film on OTT. It is worth mentioning that ''Thank You Brother'', featuring Anasuya Bharadwaj and Viraj Ashwin in the lead roles, is one of the first films in Telugu to release on a streaming platform.

Bankrolled by Magunta Sarath Chandra Reddy and Tharaknath Bommi Reddy, ''Thank You Brother'' also features Anish Kuruvilla, Harsha Chemudu, Mounika Reddy, Kadambari Kiran, Aadarsh Balakrishna, Annapurnamma, Archana Ananth and Bobby Raghavendra in pivotal roles. Anasuya Bharadwaj will be seen playing the role of a pregnant woman in the film. Guna Balasubramanian is on board as the music composer for the project, while the film has cinematography handled by Suresh Ragutu. Ramesh Raparthi directs Thank You Brother.
