'Andhra King Taluka' trailer launch: Ram Pothineni praises Bhagyashri Borse for her 'glamour and strong performances'

Ram Pothineni is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film, 'Andhra King Taluka', directed by Mahesh Babu P. The movie features 'Kaantha' star Bhagyashri Borse as the female lead. Ram recently opened up about why the project feels particularly close to his heart and praised his co-star for her exceptional talent.

Bhagyashri Borse receives high praise

As per a report by CinExpress, during the film's trailer launch event, he praised Bhagyashri Borse for her on-screen presence and acting skills. "After many years, the Telugu film industry has found an actress who can showcase glamour while also delivering strong performances. You have a long way to go, Bhagyashri," he said. Bhagyashri recently made her Tamil debut with the Dulquer Salmaan starrer 'Kaantha'.

Bhagyashri's previous work

Earlier, she was seen in Vijay Deverakonda's 'Kingdom' and made her Tollywood debut in 'Mr Bachchan', sharing space with Ravi Teja.

He also shared that the film has been one of the most personal films of his career. "When Mahesh narrated the story to me, I told him that this is one of the most personal films of my career," Ram said. He added that the project involved a lot of hard work from the team. "I got a great team for this project," he added.

Ram Pothineni's role in the film

Talking about his role, Ram revealed that he plays a devoted fan of a superstar. "Upendra garu is playing a superstar, and I am playing his fan in the film," he said. The actor expressed enthusiasm about portraying a character deeply connected to the emotional world of fandom and admiration, which he feels will be liked by the audience.

'Andhra King Taluka' also features veteran actor Murali Sharma and popular actor Rahul Ramakrishna in key roles.

The movie is set to release on November 22.
