Speculations in the film industry are rife that
Anu Emmanuel will be playing the female lead in
Nikhil Siddharth’s 18 Pages
.
The actress, who made her debut in Tollywood with
Nani starrer Majnu
, later worked in films such as Oxygen, Agnyaathavaasi, Naa Peru Surya and Shailaja Reddy Alludu. She would be paired opposite Nikhil in the film directed by Palnati Surya Pratap of Kumari 21F fame. However, there is no official word regarding the same. Other details of the film, such as cast and crew and, story have been kept under wraps.
Touted to be a romantic drama, the forthcoming film is penned by Sukumar, produced by
Allu Aravind under the banner Geetha Arts in association with
Sukumar Writings. Gopi Sunder is in charge of composing music for this flick. It is expected that the film will go on floors from May and will release at the end of the year. More details about the film are awaited.
Meanwhile, Anu Emmanuel was last seen in Shailaja Reddy Alludu, opposite Akkineni Naga Chaitanya. The film was an average fare at the box office.
