Anupama Parameswaran joins the sets of Nikhil Siddhartha's Karthikeya 2

revealed on Tuesday that actress Anupama Parameswaran has been roped in as the female lead for the film. The actress already joined the sets of this thriller and says that she's excited to get into the skin of her character.

Welcoming Anupama to the sets, Nikhil took to social media and wrote, "Meeku Telusu ani maaku Telusu... But andariki intha Ishtamaina Ammayi

Filmmaker Chandoo Mondeti, who also directed the first part of Karthikeya is helming this project. In Karthikeya 2, Nikhil will play the role of a doctor and the film has been touted as an edge-of-the-seat thriller, just like the first part. The shooting for the film was halted in mid-April but has resumed after the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Bollywood Actor Anupam Kher is also playing an important role in the sequel. Both Nikhil and Anupama are also acting together in another upcoming film titled, 18 Pages.
