Anupama Parameswaran to play female lead in Nani's upcoming film ''Shyam Singha Roy''?

Anupama Parameswaran, who was last seen in Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas' Rakshasudu, is likely to team up with Natural Star Nani for his upcoming film ''Shyam Singha Roy,'' directed by Rahul Sankrityan. Earlier, we had reported that Rahul Sankrityan will direct Nani in a project and it will be set against the backdrop of Kolkata. The latest buzz on the internet is that actress Anupama Parameswaran has been approached to play the female lead in the film.
The makers recently narrated the script to her and she was quite impressed with the character. Though she has expressed interest to be a part of it, she is yet to sign on the official agreement. However, an announcement regarding the same is likely to be made soon. The film is likely to begin early next year once Nani finishes his current project ''Tuck Jagadish.'' The makers have decided to shoot the film in Hyderabad as the current situation is not ideal.
''Shyam Singha Roy'' will reportedly feature three heroines and Sai Pallavi has reportedly been finalized as one of the female leads. If everything goes well, the film marks the second time collaboration between Nani and Anupama Parameswaran after ''Krishnarjuna Yudham.'' Nani is currently is working on Tuck Jagadish, directed by Shiva Nirvana. Sahu Garapati and Harish Peddi are backing the project under Shine Screens banner. Jagapathi Babu, Ritu Varma and Aishwarya Rajesh are also part of the project.
