Shalini Pandey couldn’t have asked for a better debut than ‘
Arjun Reddy’ which scored a phenomenal success at the box-office with big praises to director Sandeep Vanga and the lead pair. The dark-drama showcased Shalini in the author-backed role of Preeti Shetty and the theatre artist impressed right from the word go with her natural emotions and convincing acting chops. With a string of Tamil & Telugu films in the pipeline, the 25-year-old actress has just received a call from Mumbai.

Aditya who is the son of popular Hindi actor
Paresh Rawal. Titled
‘Bamfaad’
, the film will be directed by Ranjan Chandel and presented by
Anurag Kashyap. Presently in the pre-production phase, the film is touted to be an intense romantic-drama set in Allahabad and will feature actors like Vijay Verma and Jatin Sarna in pivotal roles.
Starring as the heroine in Kalyan Ram’s ‘118’ at present, Shalini is also essaying Tamannaah’s role in the Tamil remake of Sukumar’s
‘100% Love’
. Besides this, she has a couple of Tamil flicks in hand. Hope Shalini would have the same luck in Bollywood as well!
