The film is being produced under the Asian Cinemas banner so the production house revealed on their social media that they were collaborating with Nikhil on this yet untitled project. “We are very happy to announce our next Project with @actor_Nikhilunder @SVCLLP for #Nikhil20. Produced by NarayanDas K Narang & Puskur Ram M Rao in #RainbowReels production. @AsianSuniel” (sic) they wrote. Nikhil too shared this announcement on his social media and expressed his joy at the signing of his next project. “Asian Movies Happy to sign with you... With your trust and backing we can make Better & Bigger films... @SVCLLP #Nikhil20” (sic) wrote Nikhil. The director and the rest of the cast of the film are yet to be announced.

2020 has been an eventful year for Nikhil both personally and professionally. Besides signing his twentieth film he also tied the knot to his lady love, Pallavi this year. Nikhil also has two more films lined up for release this year. He will be back as Chandoo Mondeti in Karthikeya 2 and the other film is a Palneti Surya Pratap directorial titled 18 Pages. Both these films were being shot before the ongoing lockdown to fight the novel coronavirus pandemic stalled film shoots all over the country. When this film with go on floors is unclear still because theatres have not reopened at the moment and shoots have not started.
