Arvind Swami to do a Tamil-Hindi bilingual

Almost after a decade, Arvind Swami has been signed to play the lead in a Tamil-Hindi bilingual, which is to be directed by Mahesh Manjrekar. The film is said to be the actor���s first Straight Hindi film. Confirming the development, Arvind Swami says, ���Yes, I am doing this Tamil-Hindi bilingual film. I���ll commence shoot in January. It is a very interesting story and so, I accepted the offer.
The script is a beautiful romance.��� Arvind Swami was last seen in Bollywood in Raja Ko Rani Se Pyar Ho Gaya. In Tamil, he played a vital role in Mani Ratnam���s recent Kadal. We hear that he has also been approached for a couple of other Hindi and Tamil projects. ���I am discussing a lot of scripts and I���ll take up a film in Tamil soon,��� he says.
