Story:
Asmee (Rushika) is held captive in a place for several years. After believing Rajesh (Keshav) is behind this act, she kills him. But she later realises that Siva (Narendra) was the one who tortured her. What’s the story behind this?

Performances:Rushika as a lady who’s been held captive for several years delivers a remarkable performance. Raja Narendra, Koushik Deepak, and others deliver very good performances as well.

Positives:
'Asmee' begins with a unique concept and progresses well with emotions, romantic scenes, and emotional drama until the unexpected twist. The smooth pacing and the lack of lag in the first half of the movie is huge relief.

Negatives:
Although the twist in the movie is quite impressive, some sloppy scenes in the middle spoil the experience to an extent. Also, some scenes should have been conceived even better. In some portions, the narrative appears too cinematic as logic goes missing.

Technical aspects:
The film will keep you glued to the screen right from the start till the very end.

Director Sesh Karthik

picks a novel plot, and he handles the subject very well. Asmee revolves around three central characters, and Sesh Karthik’s screenplay is intricate. Editing is decent, and the production values are excellent. Sesh Karthikeya's cinematography is good, with beautiful visuals and camera angles. The background score by Sandy Addanki is fine.

'Asmee' comes with an impressive emotional twist along with engaging drama in some parts.
